how do the 2 injectors actually come out, do they just push out...or screw out...I took my tbi apart for a rebuild...removed allens...removed top peice(pressure reg.) and the peice that holds the injectors(where the fuel lines hook up to)and thats the only thing I havent un-assembled yet...I don't want to force it untill I know excatly how they come out...this car has sat for 7 years and is gummed up...

 

Basically they pull straight out the top. Once the top cover is off place a metal rod such as a phillips head screwdriver shank across the top of the pod. Now with a straight blade screwdriver using the round rod as a fulcrum point, pry the injector upward. For an injector pry point place the blade under the center post.
