How to get the rivets out of the coil bracket
I have recently bought the MSC blaster coil to upgrade from the factory externally mounted coil. however in order to instal it I have to break the rivots off the old coil so I can mound the new one. My dad is a machinist (so no big deal) but is there any easier was to do this. i am sure someone out there had to do it themsleves because they didn't have the luxery of having a family member that can make any metal part for a car.

What tools do you have access to? I installed an Accel SuperCoil a while back and it used the stock mounting bracket. I just cut the heads of the rivets off with a cutting disk attachment on an air powered grinder, I'm sure you could use something else to accomplish the same thing. They give you screws to attach the brackets to the new coil.
