If you know the basics of your TBI unit then fix them yourself. I just replaced one of mine because one of the electrode thingys was snapped off. There are only like 6 screws on top of the unit that come out. The new injector comes with all new gaskets. The only problem i ran into was scraping off the old gaskets. I had to use an exacto knife to get them off. All those little pieces fell into the throttle bores to which I had to meticulously pick out. The injectors are expesive though. I paid like 65 bucks just for one at advanced autoparts. Make sure you get the right one though. Autoaone had thiers boxed wrong and I couldn't figure out why there was a difference in the new one and from the one that came out of the car. So i returned it and went to another store. After you have the top part of the TBI unit off, lay a screwdriver from left to right on the TBI body. Lay another screwdriver perpendicular on top of it and pry the old injectors out. Takes a little wiggle but go slow. Use the mushroom shaped head in the middle of the injector (put the screwdriver head there to pry it out). Let me know if this was confusing. Once you get in there you will see how easy it was. I had no plans to change mine but I noticed that it was broken so I went ahead and fixed it.
