Will '88 T/A TBI exhaust manifolds fit aluminum Corvette L98 heads?
Will '88 T/A TBI exhaust manifolds fit aluminum Corvette L98 heads?
Will these fit or will the fact that the plugs are angled interfere with the manifolds?
Thanks,

dont be that guy.....get a set of headers before I warp through the monitor and ring your neck. If youre doing heads its a no-brainer to get headers too!

I don't see why they wouldn't.
I'm going to agree with vortecfcar. Don't do yourself the injustice of going through all the hassle of a head swap without doing the headers too. Installing headers is not an easy task, but, if you've already got the heads off swapping in the headers adds a trivial amount work to your project.

I would get headers but this TBI engine is going into a Volvo 740 sedan (Sleeper
The Camaro manifolds will fit the engine compartment provided you mill the surface that mates to the block a degree or two to gain clearance. I was looking at the Edelbrock TES headers but I'm just not sure they will fit. Maybe once the engine goes in I will have a better idea.

I can see where you may have a problem getting the plugs in. They are angle plug heads. The vette comes with tubular manifolds, (shorty's) that might be why.

I used LT1 exhaust manifolds on my Vette headed ZZ4 in my 1992 S10. The 1994 and 1995 single cat manifolds are the preferred manifolds and are designed for D-port heads. While these manifolds don't flow as well as headers, they do outflow the TBI or TPI manifolds. The dual cat manifolds can be used, but the driver's side head pipe flange may need to be cut down for frame/body clearance and re-drilled and tapped for stud relocation. (Ask me how I know this!). This flange on the dual cat cars are HUGE for bolting a cat directly to the manifold. Also, custom flanges will have to be fabricated to attach the dual cat manifolds to the head pipes. It is much easier to use the 94-95 single cat manifolds. You can probably pick-up a used set of single cat manifolds in the for sale section of www.camaroz28.com for about $30. (I'm a member - notice my username) You will have to drill one additional hole in the exhaust port side of each manifold and use an allen head bolt to attach it to the head at the #2 & #7 cylinders. The LT1 heads have an extra hole on BOTH ends of the exhaust flange for a total of 8 per head. The L98 vette heads have 7 bolt holes.

the best stock manifolds are supposed to be the Vette LT4 ones and the big chevy/GMC B van ones.
