TBI chip burning rules
First I'd like to say I've finally made it to 1000posts!
I changed the chip from a hypertech thermomaster to an 89 caprice cop car (350) chip and it runs much better.
One things that's getting on my nerves is that I think I'm the ONLY person in this world that is diving in head first into the 8746 ecm. Pablo switched to the 7747 (most popular) and so he can't help with the actual programming. He just gives me a hard time and advice which is much appreciated.
I recommend anybody that's planning on doing major mods (cough TIM cough) to get a custom chip or get into programming chips (not as hard as everybody thinks). The following page has everything you need to program your own chips for OUR cars specific. If you can help me or have some sugestions then please let me know. Go to my site, click on cars, my car, and there is a link to the eprom burning page.

Your link didn't work for me. I read in another thread that the 89-90 caprice used our ECM, this is correct right?
You are using the 89 cop motor chip, what were the specs of that motor? What is different between the 92-93 Caprice 350 and the 89-90 one? Where did you get, and what did you pay for your chip?

My site host is giving me troubles (crosswinds.net sucks!) so the page isn't up yet but it is finished. Hopefully it'll be up tonight. The 89-92 Caprice used our ecm and the bin file is on the diy_efi ftp server. I'll have a bunch on my site for everybody to look at and compare.
I payed for the blank chip and the programming equipment, all the stuff you'll need is on my website.
