Questions????

how bad is it to take off your heads and leave it out side with only a plastic bag laying over it for 1-2 months. i talked to people and they said that was insane and he was not to smart for doing that but my brother thinks his engine will be ok like that. I know it is very bad and i agree with the people. how bad is it? and what will get messed up?
Oh yea can you tell me if i am paranoid or not but my brother was using a wire bruch on a drill to get rust off and he spilled a container full of gas and made a puddle of gas with a diamater 3 feet+ and practicaly sat in it. he looked at it then just continued and i told him he better pick it up and he just said that i was paranoid (maybe it's just because i got out of the hospital from being there 2 months i dont konw please tell me?)

Only risk with leaving anything metal outside is rust, which would be a problem on a set of heads.

As for sitting in a puddle of gasoline......words simply cannot describe the stupidity of that act.

how old is your brother? should he really be using power tools and working on cars. sounds to me like hes going to be the next one in the hospital.

My friend's motor was trashed like that. His head gasket went, and the mech gave him a runaround about fixing it- so the car sat for a month or two. When my friend towed it out, it sat for another month before we got it to a garage. Turned out that with the head "loose" on the engine, the piston rings rusted to the cylinder walls. The mech said the first guy should've sealed up the head somehow.
