Want to gut harness,What do I do?

hey guys,
I'm posting this in the TBI forum to see if anybody here has done this. What I want to do is gut my harness to clean up things abit.my plan is to trim it down and run whats left INSIDE the firewall and out the small hole behind the passenger side head.I know snflupigus had a pic somewhere of a gutted TBI harness but I can't seem to find it.I figure all I need to run from the hole is the wires for the grounds, sensors and injectors.I want to put the Relays on the Driver side firewall by the brake booter on the inside of the car.I can run the wires for the ECM ground, headlights, power steering and the horn behind their respective fenders.what would be a good way of doing this? I basically want to rid the firewall of any wires. The cleaner the better.Any help would be great.

The first step would be to get wiring diagrams. The actual F-body electrical manuals are extremly hard to come by, but chiltons has a complete reprint of the wiring diagrams in its repair manual. Become very familiar with it before you dig into the harness. Wiring is definatly something thats real easy to screw up.

As for passing it through a hole, that will require you to disassemble/de-pin the ECMs main connectors and potentially other items so you can pass the actual wires and pins through the firewall. It may be easier to leave it in its current place behind the fender.
