1.6 roller rockers
you are better off just swapping the cam itll cost you the same unless you buy stamped non guided 1.6 rockers like i did. Ive seen the 187 with non guided rockers before BTW believe it or not the pushrod slots seem to be the same as older style heads. Check it out. But i wouldnt waste my time although i do have 1.6s along with my aftermarket cam.
It depends on what you want to do. I replaced my stock rockers with the Crane full roller set for $300. Was it worth it? It made a difference but nothing huge. It helped more when I put headers on with the rockers already fininshed. If you just want to upgrade piece by piece then do it. They bolt right up with no valve cover mods. Make sure you get the 3/8 self adjusting ones.
If you can afford to, wait and upgrade at one time. It makes everything alot easier.
