TBI gasket question

Are you supposed to use RTV in order to seal the TBI unit to the intake manifold? Not sure since it came off real easy.

nope...no need to. That is technically a "dry seal"

I already used RTV on it over the weekend...website was down so I couldn't check. Reason I used it was because the engine had a nasty sucking sound coming from the TBI bores. It turned out my timing was WAY off....got it adjusted and its been running fine ever since.

Thanks for the info anyway.
