could somebody point me to where to get 58mm butterflies from.
and btw, they have to be cheaper than $12 a peice, I plan on buying about 15 pair.
Braswell has 2.25's for 12 a peice, and they want 15 to ship em, that comes up to 40 bucks for two blades.
Anybody else.
Thanks.

Wouldn't the $15 for shipping for all 15 sets? I can't see them charging $15 for each set of two.
So $12 each is $24 plus $15 shipping divided by the number of sets they send you.
Anyways, you might want to look at the holley dominators parts. I recall when i was looking for 52's, that is where we got them from. Otherwise, a metal fab shop might be able to stamp a bunch out for you.
Mark.

Holy smokes, that's alot of money for two little round pieces of aluminum. For that price, I would just fab up a jig and make them myself.

i know i have to be able to buy them for cheaper than i can have them made.
well, yes, on the shipping, but when i talked to them, i was only going to buy 2 sets, and that was my shipping charge, and they would only ship them cod. wtf! their carbs are on every winston cup car on the track they claim, but they wont accept a credit card. sounds like they are stuck in the dark age. (from being around carbs all day long, hehehehehe) efi rules.
anyway, im not about to pay that much per set of blades anyway. im thinking they are worth at most 8 a peice, i would pay 8, but hope for near 3. seriously, where do these guys who build the 58mm tpi throttle bodies get their butterflies?
thanks

yes, for one of my tbis. i want to make one for a guy, with a supercharged 454 so he can test a mamothly large tbi unit such as that for me. in all seriousness, that is huge-er than huge.
Hey Snuf, why don't you hook me up with one for my 383 too??
Looking to run something with the IAC in it if at all possible...

hook up would equal almost $300. just to let you know. these things arent cheap to make, but it would come with an iac. it would be a base with an iac, blades, shaft, and linkage.
