ive received info that might suggest that i have "fried" my TPS or MAP. i am curious as to where they are located on my 1990 305 TBI.

dont quote me on this one but im pretty sure the tps is at an angle in the throttle body on the base and the map is on the left side on a bracket and its flat and its got a large harness coming out the front of it

 

Yeah, the TPS sensor is on the passenger side of the throttle body/ The MAP sensor is mounted on the left side firewall, it will have a vacuum line running to it.

The TPS should be on the passenger's side of the throttle body. It's black and sorta looks like a half circle. Should have a wire connector coming out of the top front of it. (Also, I think it's held in by two screws.) I'm not sure about the MAP. I think it's in the back of the throttle body. I'm sure someone else will know.
