AE lookup based on time Q? EBL.bin

I am trying to ascertain which value(s) the ECU uses for time when an AE event occurs.

Lets say I move the TPS % as fast as humanly possible. .001 msec. I go from cruise at 13% tps 48 map 30 mph TO 33% tps 80 map same mph.

I suspect it will then use the AE TPS PW look up for 20% AND the AE MAP at lookup of 32 MAP. Adding in a sum total of AE from both tables. Then modified for RPM AE + coolant + filter. My filter is same for TPS/MAP at operating temps.

Then the Q is what time frame would modify that change. Lets say I am entering Xway and do a typical roll on of TPS%. AE is "on" yet it must use a period of successive bits of time. Is it 100 milliseconds(.1 sec) or 50 msec etc?

I am attempting to tune my AE at the RPMs > 2400. It seems I need little to none. I am pulling 30% at 2400 rpms and 73% at 4800. My AE TPS and AE MAP are somewhat flat in values. In fact I have more usec at lower TPS% than higher(600 3% dropping to 427). Map low kpa is 305 0 kpa rising to 427.

75 lbs injs at 26 lbs FP.

It seems an AE event could use possibly 5 differing positions on each table or more?

No to the filtering of the PW. The filter values are used to create the delta TPS & delta MAP values. The dMAP & dTPS values are used to 'look up' the AE PW from the respective table.

The TPS is filtered every 25 msec (40 Hz), with the MAP filtered every 100 msec (10 Hz).

This creates a lagged value that is subtracted from the current TPS/MAP to create the delta.

Lots of info in this thread:
