Anyone had any luck porting there TBI units?

A couple of years ago I screwed up my fuel injector pod so I had one sent to me from a junk yard, but I had to buy the whole TBI unit. Not too bad for only 60 bucks including the injectors. But anyway, all that I need was the pod so that's all that I used, so I still have to Throttle body and its collecting dust. But anyway, I was wondering if anyone knows whats steps I should take to port it. Do I need new oversized butterflies and if so, where can I get them from? Also, I can't remember from the last time I had it off, but are the ports on the top of the stock intake bigger or the same size as the throttle body bores, cause I don't wanna waste my time trying to get more air into the throttle body if I can't get it into the intake. Any suggestions and comments please?

you can port em to 48mm, NO LARGER sorry. youll need larger butterflies, and the holes on the stock intake are the same size as the stock tbi (1 11/16")

I just did the same thing to my TBI. There is a tech article on this, under technical articles on the main page. Look for Ultimate TBI II... should be helpful
