New 350 (what chip to start)
I had a 305 and now I'm putting in a motor that was designed for the caprice... 350TBI with Hydro rollers.
My question is should i start out with a chip for the caprice 350 or my 305 factory. I can easily start at one of these two points and modify later... it will be a while before I get a prom burner.

The caprice eprom is the best start. There is nothing different about the actual TBI sensors so if you're going to swap in a caprice engine, take the eprom with you.
