Fastburn 385 with TBI?
Will be getting a new engine hopefully within a year or so....was looking at the fastburn 385 with the Hot Cam installed....425 hp....I want to have atleast 350 HP....but the more the merrier. Anyways...will I beable to run this off of TBI? I'll be getting probably a 454 TBI or the Holley TBI...also...what kind of injectors would I need...anything else I would need/need to know? Thanks

You'll want the Vortech TBI intake manifold to match up with the heads, and definitely the 454 2" TBI intake. I dont know injector size tho...

Just wondering...how will this effect my gas mileage? Im guessing it'll drop quite a bit...but how is it possible for new corvettes and fbodies that have 385hp stock....still get like 18/26 mpg??? Is it the induction system theyre using..or is it the engine? This will still be my daily driver....so I want good mileage....if im gonna get horrible mileage...i guess i'll have to compensate with a not so powerful engine. Also...does the fastburn 385 have provisions for EGR? Ive heard yes and no...if it doesnt...I'll just get the ZZ4 block...add some 50 state legal heads...and an EGR manifold. Where would i have in terms of power then? Thanks
