Drove from Calgary Alberta today to Kelowna
British Columbia (that's in Canada) distance was 374.64 miles, I then filled up and calculated my MPG. Heres how I figured:
603.3kms X 0.621= 374.64 miles
44.634 Litres X 0.264 = 11.783 gallons (US)
= 31.7 mpg!!!
Holy gas milage batman!
Did I screw up the formula? This was driving through the Rocky Mountains at speed between
55-70 mph (average), not prarie flat lands.
Wow, very impressed.

I hit about 28 on a trip to Detroit (to see Pearl Jam, yay!). That was 75-80 mph the whole way, all highway. I was very happy.

when my car still had teh 2.73's, an open element, and a y-pipe back exhaust i once got a shade over 32mpg on a trip to upstate NY and back. ones tank to get there and do some driving around and 1 tank to do some more driving up there and get home. it was wild, i do all city driving when home, so seeing the trip meter reading over 400 miles was pretty cool.

the "sweet spot" as I see it in my car is at about 78-80 mph. I can get 30.2 mpg with that as an avg. speed. Hell even the 87 would get 28mpg on the highway.. see the sig to see what it's mods were..
