Opinons on Edelbrock and Holley TBI intake manifolds

Just wanted to hear the pros and cons of each. I am looking for an intake (has to have egr) that has a power range of idle to about 5500. Is there something better out there with an adapter plate. Roughly how much power will either of these intakes produce (mods in sig). I have heard mixed reviews on both. Wich gives the better SOTP diff.

If you can get a deal on a used one, go for the Edelbrock since its designed to be a stock replacement and everything else just bolts back on without any modification. If you plan on using bigger injectors/bores then either go the Holley route or get the Edelbrock carb manifold.

I didn't notice much SOTP improvement, but the engine definitely breathes better at higher RPM's now.....I can't wait until I put the new heads and cam in.

Great,

I am glad to hear that. I know I won't feel that much of a power increase until I get headers and heads. I was just hoping that after headers and heads the edelbrock intake will be able to keep up.
