how did you get the breaks to work on your cars with the vortec intake manifolds that dont have a vacume port to the power breaks? did you just T them off of something else? i have 2 open the one for the emissions stuff and one for the egr that are just pluged up can you use them, are they enough?

I beleive that there is a tapped hole behind the tbi on the manifold that I screwed a right angle pipe fitting on and rigged the old hard line to work. I say rigged because I'm going to rerun some of the plumbing and wiring when I have time. JP has some pics on his website that might be able to help you. I can't remember if they showed the brake plumbing. Any more questions I'll be home by 5pm EST. Good luck!

The plug fitting that goes to the MAP is what I tapped off of. There should be a picture on my site of the vacuum fitting. It's the stock piece screwed into the new manifold. I might be wrong mixed up on this but I think the TB vacuum fittings are "ported" and the one in the intake runner isn't. The ported has a wide range of readings so you won't always have a good reliable source.
