When I take off the lid to the air filter, there is always a little liquid on the bottom of the lid. It is most likely gas. I was wondering if this means I am running rich, or if it happens to all TBIs.

if you are still running the stock air box it is most likely a thin film of oil from the breather that sticks intothe side it it.
feel and see if it is slippery or if it smells bad and kinda feels like water. if it is slippery it is oil.
nothing to fear, that is perfectly normal.

could be k&n oil if you are running a k&n filter also.
