I just bought a 1985 camaro and was told it had a 350 the guy wanted 3200 firm new paint and decent interior,before I sighned the pappers I asked if he was sure it was a 350 he said I think ,haven't owned it long though I ran #'s and it said 305 so i told him that he would have to come down an the price . After making it a big deal talked him down to 2500 bought and paid for.Now for the interesting part my friend runs a 350 in an 89 truck ,drove my car and said he used to have a 305 and mine ran like a 350 and some one else said it was weird that I had an O2 sensor on a TBI,and a friend else said that I could tell by the dipstick (like witch side it was on).
I cant see the numbers on the block because of all the wires and hoses
