what are some stock 0-60 and quarter mile times for a 305 tbi?

 

bone stock 89 RS 305/700r and 2.73 posi ran 16.07 @ 84.4 preloading at 1500rpm, and manually shifting at 5000.

 

17.2 @ 76mph , '89 Firebird w/ stock LO3 (open air element) , 700R4 trans , 10 bolts 2.73 gear , 339 000 kilometers (240k miles+) , worned out spark plugs , huge exhaust leak , full weighted car w /t-tops . footbrake at 1500rpm , on Drive position

 

auto 2.73 gears
full loaded car with just about every option
full stock needing a tune up best of 16.9 turned out not only did it need plugs and wires it was set to -2 retarded

in good tune it ran 16.3 really had to work for this but

with open element and smog delete it ran 16.1 but crappy traction that day
only ran 3 times on my 3rd run the guy next to me wrecked so got the hell out of there

i now have 3.23 gears and posi and alloy driveshaft
so well see what it runs when the track opens been rained or snowed out so far this year

but the gears really woke the car up so im expecting mid 15's

 

I know you said stock, but with just exhaust and shift kit 15.3 at 88 MPH...Never been in the motor...you will love a thirdgen...THey handle real purdy..................Tom
