A different sound from lt1 cam?

This week I am planning on replacing the timming chain, roller lifters, and while I am at it Ill replace the cam with a lt1 cam from a 95'Z that I bought for 2O$. By the way I am replacing the lifters and the timming chain becuase I got a good deal on them from a friend that works at AutoZone and gets good deals under the table . I was wondering if the LT1 cam gives a different sound than the stock one on the 305?

the added airflow should help the exaust sound. That's about it.

it may add a little bit of a lopey sound tothe idle. it will make abig difference in the exhaust note when you are on the gas since you will be using so much more air. it may be a little louder at idle too.

Hey JokerRS,
what are your 1/4 mile times?? I was wondering because I have similar mods on my RS, other than the Lt1 cam and was interested in how much improvement the cam gave you. Thanks buddy!
