sorry for yelling, but When YA SEE FIRE!!! not cool, it was actually just a fart that ignited right above the TBI then Died down,
Car had died... batt drained, then got jump start. car Ran, Correction, would not run less pedal was held at above 1000 Rpms...
and the needle was jumping like crazy, car smelled funny, gas smell.
was very very bad, held in neutral revved engine... then green , switch to Drive, then almost dies, 'hit' gas, then car sputters and goes slowly

two months ago, replaced fuel filter, air fliter, tranny filter, oil filter (time again tho)

Whats going on, school starts on Tuesday. i was supposed to have the stereo finished, didnt get anything... only power wire installed...

Oi, stocks are down, moneys almost all gone,
i feel like driving off a cliff but my car would Stall out before i made it to the edge.....

lol, sounds like when my injectors came loose and sprayed all over the place WHILE my TPS sensor was wires up backwards (idle showed the ecm WOT and vise versa at WOT it showed idle!).
do the injectors look like they are just pooring fuel into the TB at idle? If so then you have a crossed wire with the TPS or some other sensor problems.
Ask Tim/NJSpeeder about my little engine swap problem. He forgot to tighted down the holley injector holding plate and they came loose....lots of fuel everywhere and a nice 5 second fire on the whole TB unit.
I was pissed at the time but when I look back it sure was funny. Not to mension I let my friends hookup the starter solinoid (backwards) and I couldn't figure why the car wouldn't crank for 3 days!!!! I tried everything, even looked at the fuse links until I desided to go under and switch the leads....fired right up. The smallest things will through you for a loop but don't worry, you'll figure it out.

if the backfire comes out of the TB it means you have an overly lean condition. either the injectors are not firing or you have lost fuel pressure(both of which i have done )

ok, fuel pressure is large possibilty, if my pump was dieing, would this be the cause?

or could it be plugs?
im checkin plugs and wires right now..

o and how would i check TPS if its unplugged?

(i kno dumb quest, but ive been in a panic attack... i dont feel good)
