Removed A.I.R. any tips?

Installed the L69 dual snorkle air cleaner.Got pretty frustrated with trying to relocate the
damn thing (A.I.R.. injection) I just ripped it outta there.

Car seems to run stronger and is louder but now I get a check engine light after a few minutes. Any advice as to the ramifications of my hasty (?) choice?
Should I plug up any holes? thanks

It shouldn't be throwing codes if you plugged everything up right. I'm assuming you didn't from the wording of your post. The metal pipe leading to the cat oughta be plugged or removed. and get some 1/4" pipe plugs from depot for each hole, otherwise the car'll suffer

the second part's only from my experience a month ago when i removed my AIR. car ran like sh*t in the garage until i plugged all the holes in the exhaust manifold.

You didn't plug all the holes in the manifolds?! LOL! That musta sounded pretty bad! Reminds me of the time when my friend forgot to bolt the manifolds up to his engine, he just started it up, BIG MISTAKE!
