Edelbrock TBI intake and Crane gold race roller rockers 1.6...

Anyone wanna estimate what my chances are if I added these 2 to my car? I raced a friend in a 89 Stang LX with a 5.0 and all he had done was exhaust and upper intake.. He beat me by about 1 car length from 0-60 and he runs a 15.0 1/4 mile..

I've never gotten around to taking my car to the track but do you guys think that adding the TBI intake and the roller rockers would make up for that car length he pulled on me?

those rockers are overpriced. You'll get better lift from a LT1 or LT4 cam.

Yeah, I'd agree.
But, if you want the extra lift without having to change the cam, then I'd recommend stamped steel 1.6's.
Billet aluminum full-rollers are not as necessary as the cam companies will have you believe. At least while you're still running low spring pressure.
