MSD PRO BILLIT DISTRIBUTOR

I PICK UP A REALLY GOOD USED ONE WITH A NEW CAP AND ROTER FOR $75. WITH MY SETUP UP BELOW AND I COULD TO NOTICE ANYTHING AFTER I INSTALL IT?? HOW MUCH OF AN UPGRADE OVER THE STOCK DISTRIBUTOR?? I AM THINKIN ABOUT GETING AN MSD 6aL AS WELL. I THAT OVERKILL??

Ummm.. what? You probably won't notice any difference at all, maybe a smoother idle. The only real reason (IMHO) for a "juiced" ignition system is if your N/A compression is high, you juice, or you're blown.

But that's just me, I could be wrong. At $75 it's a helluva deal regardless. If you plan on swapping engines in the future, add a MSD 6 variant and a Blaster coil as funds/auctions permit.

ya i really couldnt leave it for 75.. and yes eventully i am going to a 350. mostly of the parts i have bought can be a direct swap into a 350. i figured if i get a smother idle and some better gas milage its worth it.
