oh yea!!!...?

i finally got my engine to run decent and idle took only 2 months but any ways i go down the street and there there was a big clack and my engine dies and i am still going and it starts back up and it did that several times before i could get back to my house and was wondering what that is?? is it a spark jumping? something jumping around in my engine? i dont really know it is dark now so i am going to wait tomarrow but i would like to know what would cause that i just think it is a spark jumping because it is able to save its self sometimes when it is higher than idle speed so nothing is really locking up.

i would also like to thank every one on this board for there help and special thanks to njspeeder tim, deadbird ken, brian felts, and jprovest jon, for directing me the right way thought this project of mine.

thanks,
danny

oh yea my brakes dont work too good and i think i am not getting enough vacume, when i push the breaks lightly it stops normally and when i push hard on it it is like a rock and it doesnt stop too good. i dont think it is becasue i need to bleed the breaks because when you need to bleed it, it is really soft. i hooked it up to the screw in vacume line that is behind the tbi unit but that was not good enough so tried one of the open vacume lines infront of the tbi unit that i had blocked before because i was not using them but i dont think it is still good enough, where should i hook it up now? should i combine the 2 open ones in the front.

i drove it again today and and noticed when i try to go over something like 2500 rpms it clicks and dies and i cant find any thing wronge with the ignition by looking at it. and when i get it close to 2500 rmp it does not want to go any higher at all and when i rev it to 2500 when it is parked it does not want to at all and decreses the rpm very slowly when let off of the gas.

anybody???

Check the power wire and/or ground wire to your fuel pump relay. Something could be loose there and when you rev the car is pulls or moves off contact and the stalling occurs.
