Yes in the late 80's they made a limited run of them. Is there something specific that you need to know about them? They can be directly replaced with the 8746 ECM (?I think?) If it isn't a direct plug in then there is one or two wires that need to be jummpered or cut and you can plug it right in.
The 8063 isn't hacked at all as for as DIY Eprom burning.

L03 and L05 Camaro/Firebirds & Caprices got 'em. In 1988 only. Oh yeah, lars, it's not that the 8063 isn't hacked as much as the 8746, it isn't hacked at all for the DIYer (to the best of my knowledge).

Yeah I heard that too, that there is no tuning software out for that ECM. If you'll notice my sig, you'll see why i wasn't real happy about this. But i got lucky, a freind of mine converted to carb (non daily driver car) and gave me his ECM... which turned out to be the 8746 i think it was... whatever that one you guys just mentioned. Haven't installed it, but if i even get into chip tuning that'll be the first thing i'll do since its a direct swap.
