tbi A.I.R question
what is the tube that goes from the air cleaner bonnet to the exhaust manifolds. I don't have it. is it A.I.R. injection? i passed emissions this way.i going to get headers but don't know whether i'll need to get A.I.R compatable ones. if that what that hose was than i'm gonna get the cheaper hedman or hooker headers without the A.I.R. sutff

Re: tbi A.I.R question
have you read the ultimat tbi mods? take that hose right off of their. what it does is warms up the tbi or the air in the tbi at colder temps, it restricts air flow as well. unless you drive your f body in antartica take that off!!

Re: tbi A.I.R question
Its not air injection. Like the guy above said its about feeding warm air into the throttle body on cold days. Its not necessarry.
Air injection is a pump that is driven by the belt that injects air into the exhasut manifolds via stainless steel looking tubing, its purpose is to help the catalytic converter burn off unburnt hydrocarbons.
