Launching the mighty LO3 5-speed
How do you guys go about launching your cars? What's the most effective strategy for it? ***** -foot the clutch with rev's at 3500? Clutch drop at 3000? I'm just looking for what works best. By the way my car is stock.

I think you will spin the tires too much if you dump the clutch at anything over 2500rpms.

it is the kinda thing you hafta play with. stick cars can be a little tricky. about 2500 sounds liek the right neighborhood though.
you kinda hafta test the waters, the best is usually just a enough to keep it from bogging down but not enough to spin a lot. like i said, it's tricky.
