Well, I can't say from direct experience, but I've heard a lot of bad things about the Edelbrock manifold. Generally, the complaint is that there is little difference between it and the stock manifold. Although, this isn't a constant. Some people like it.
The cam is a little more definite. The cam is bad. It's a hydraulic, flat lifter type cam. You'd lose the hydraulic roller-lifters that our engines come with, and the horsepower associated with the loss of friction. It's also too small to be useful on a modified engine, and overpriced at that. If I was looking for a junk cam to throw in a block, I'd go with a Summit or PAW house cam.
That's Edelbrock's problem. They usually assume that the only modification you're going to make, is the one you buy from them. This isn't so true if you're buying the higher end Victor or Torker parts, but there are none that are a direct replacement for our cars.

Read NJ Speeders post's. He's running that intake and does very well with it. He's also going with an LT1 cam as many people are for the LO3. It is a direct replacement for the stock cam. Just make sure that you valve springs are up to the task and that the pin on the end of the cam does not stick out any farther than the stock one does. Also they can be purchased used for a low price. Used roller cams are ok to use.

i really like this manifold. if you plan on keeping your combo mild or only going as far as the LT1 cam it will work well. if in the long run you do get a cam the holley intake and TB will get you more top end power because of greater manifold volume. i don't think the difference is huge or anything though.
the best part about edelbrock is that their parts are always a true bolt on. every bolt boss and vacuum port is right where it belongs from the factory, i can't say that for anything holley has ever made.

Yep, Edelbrock intake and headers gave me no problems at any time and I have had those headers since 1995 on 3 different engines. Sure would like to get some coated ones though!
That cam is very mellow and nothing special. better off with a cheapo 204/214deg .420"/.442" lift cam from Summit for $69ish, as suggested. I used the 3702 in a 350cid and got like 240hp, btw. Not a bad cam, just VERY mellow and better for putters/trucks/emissions probs.
