Sure I will just hop in my car and drive a 146 miles one way to the nearest 1/4 mile track to get you a time slip.

Sorry you don't understand the facts behind the conversions for the 1/8 to 1/4.

I'm not the one(s) wanting a time slip! Just trying to inject some dry humor in a post that's knee deep in what the horse just dropped. LOL How far do you live from Commerce?

With the 3.42 and 5 speed you wouldn't be running out of air at the end of the 1/4. Infact you'de probably be better off with 3.73 if you're running at least 26" tires.
I'm impressed but I would like to see a few more things done and see that TBI Lo3 run 13's before you get some major work done.

Commerce,GA is 166 miles one way. 1/4 Track
Steele,AL is 146 miles.1/4 Track
Reynolds(Silver Dollar),Ga ia 220 miles one way.1/4 Track
Calhoun(Pardise),GA is 18 miles one way.1/8 Track
Ringold(Brainard),Ga is 30 miles one way.1/8 Track

I Don't enjoy the 2 or 3 hour drive to make it to 1/4 track.
I grab a gtech first and find a back road.

DM91RS how close to Commerce do you live?I see your from Ga.

I can relate about a long drive . Some are not worth the time spent. I live in Covington Ga. About 50 minutes from Road Atlanta and Atlanta Motor Speedway. Commerce is a bit farther north up I-85 than Road Atlanta so I would guess about 70 minutes. I have been thinking about a G-Tech myself for testing before and after mods. Just don't know if its worth $140. Later.

Gtech's are worth the money.
You just have to be very careful and recreate the same road condintions each time you go back and test after doing mods.
Best thing to do is to weight you ride on a set of scales and find the use the same road over and over again.

I am going to use my gtech for testing the mods on the 99.

I would have to disagree that G-tech's are worth 140 bucks. I got mine for 90.00 used. You use it maybe once or twice to test out some different setups and then it collects dust until you do something again. I would never buy a new one just because there 140.00 but I would pay 75-90 bucks for a used one and then it would be worth it. Plus u can rent it out to friends.

Isn't that how it always works out? You get something and find out u could have got the same thing but cheaper somewhere else. Found out that this weekend, when I bought my Kumho 712's for 93 a tire and i thought it was a sweet deal, then I find out I could have gotten them for 70 a tire from this friend I know.
