got a (crappy) picture of my fuel pressure gauge
there is a crappy picture of my fuel pressure gauge. i converted to rubber fuel lines from the steel lines near the power steering pump all the way to the throttle body, so it was pretty easy to install.
any questions, let me know. i just wanted to show some of you guys that were wondering about where i put it.

Brian, I like that idea of replacing the metal fuel lines but isn't illegal? I know that if I go to the track and they pop my hood they check for things like that. Something about how you can only have 6" of rubber fuel line.

hey i went out and bought a sweet digital camera...here is a better pic of othe pressure gauge..
i didn't know that that was illegal at the track (!!) if thats the case, i can always jusr run the steel braided line, right? because i am not gonna go back to those crappy steel lines from the factory. they didn't fit and looked like crap.

Brian knows I am f-cking with him. But since this is a serious board I will be serious.
:Straight faced:
That is very wise placement of the fuel pressure guage.

Yo. I would really suggest using steel braided lines with the right fittings and such. With the high pressure of fuel injection that rubber will actually stretch and eventually leak at the clamps. Gas leaks = bad. I just got my Pro-Ram on and wish I could use rubber lines like that, but I've got to get the braided ones to avoid problems.
Z28 Boy - I've got the computer ready to ship out, but it's at home

yeah, i have to change the fittings. they are pretty crappy, but i needed them asap and they were at pep boys so i used 'em. i used power steering line, which has a HUGE pressure rating (something like 600 psi). i figured i wouldn't have any problems with the 15 or 16 pounds that tbi uses. but, i can definitely see what you are saying...i think that this winter i am going to redo them, with the steel reinforced tubing, with the correct fittings and everything. i want to try to find one that doesn't have the braid though..i don't like how it looks. i reme, ber seeing one that was braided somehow, but had like a black coating, so it actually still looked like a rubber line. i have a few months though to look for it, so i'm sure it will pop up again.
again man, thank you for the computer stuff..i appreciate it.
