Accel 300 Ignition??

Accel 300 Ignition??
I have a 92 TBI RS and I am having a problem instaling the accel 300 ignition.First question..There is a connector running from my distributor cap to my coil,the instructions say to remove it completly but the trouble shooting guid says to just plug it into the accel wiring harness.Which one is correct?I have tried both methods and my car wont turn over ether way.Also the instructions say its for a small distributor cap.Does our cars have the small caps or the big one?I looked at accels web sight and couldnt find any thing.Any help will great.Thanks in advance.

we have small caps. Large caps have the coil on top of the distributor.
