next new mod?

Can anyone suggest what next mod for the money will benefit performance for my 305? I'm trying to decide between either a Cowl Induction Hood, Powertrax Locker, or Intake Manifold.

What about headers, or gears? It might be time to get an MSD box also. If you want it to drive better I would go with some LCAs, Pan hard rod, SFC's and some poly bushing and mounts for everything.

Past Thirdgen:
86 Trans Am w/ built 355TPI with SLP goodies and too much other stuff to List. One sweet *** car, wish I would have had a good enough Job to pay insurance on three cars so I could keep it, but for a 89 Turbo Trans Am w/ Low miles, I think I made the right choice!

SLP makes them. $200. Better to use TPI manifolds if you do that.

SLP makes a stainless steel y-pipe that fits to the stock exhaust manifolds. Costs $169. The down pipes are 2 1/2" going into a 3" collector all mandrel bent. I didn't want headers because I read in past posts that the engine loses torque with the headers at low rpm but makes gains from 3000 rpms and above. I like the torque down low where I mainly drive. I don't drag race my car so I'm trying to modify the engine to provide a compromise between good performance and good looks. I don't want a car with a high gear ratio that messes up the speedometer calibration or gets terrible gas mileage. I'm getting 17city/26 highway. I like the way the car performs now but I would just like to enhance it a little further.
