Hey everyone, I did a search for this question and I couldnt really find the answer I was looking for.

I want to build a vortec based 305 commin' up this summer, but Im not quite sure on the manifold here. Are my only two choices the Edelbrock 4bbl performer RPM Vortec + tbi adaptor (summit pn: edl-7116) or the GM tbi vortec manifold (gm pn: 12496821)? I need EGR and will be running all smog stuff, so I dont know if that rules either of them out?

Also, what rockers came stock on the rs? Would it be worth it just to buy new 1.5 self-aliging to put on the new heads (L31 heads)?

not sure on your first question but on your second one these cars came stock with 1.5 self aligning rockers.
