trying to figure out ruffly what gains hp wise can be expected from 1.6 rockers on a stock cam. would it be comparible to a lt1 cam swap? and would it be to much on my stock springs? any info would be greatly appriciated.

it will give you a littel gain but nothing near what the cam will get you. the cam will cost you less $$$$ too. it will be a bigger deal to install but you will get at least twice as much out of it.

what would you suggest to do for about 20 hp gain besides a lt1 cam. planning headers already for the spring.

 

Start with purchasing a dyno then do the things that others have done to their cars until you gain 20 HP.
