Yes, I'm doing exactly that.
I have the parts but haven't had the time to do it yet.
You're going to need 1/2" fittings for the intake manifold and water pump. One has to have a 5/8" barb fitting and the waterpump fitting needs to have a 3/4" barb. The 3/4" barb is HARD to find. I looked at Lowes and Homedepot, neither of them had the fitting. They have a wall full of them but only one little bin for a 3/4" barb with standard compression thread! I think it's A-900 something is the bin number. Good luck finding it. I just ended up getting a bunch of garden hose fittings to make the adaptor since there are plenty of 3/4" barb hose fittings. Don't use plastic whatever you do, go with brass and I advise using teflon tape because it's cleaner than the liquid stuff.
The reason for the different hose fittings is because our stupid heatercore has 2 different size in/out! Some dumb engineer back in the early 80's must have thought it would be benificial (idiot).
3/4" goes to the waterpump and 5/8" goes to the intake manifold.
Good luck, hope this helps.
