Lt1 cam Question?
Putting a used lt1 cam in very soon.....couple questions.....91 rs 305....tbi
what should i set the time at on the timing gear on cam.... 0 -3 +3 and after what setting...after gettin everythin installed....headers intake cam....what should me timing be adjusted to......also do i need to just cam break in lube?
If anyone has done this on they're car....could u list the things you did.....i got the basics.....this would really help me out

install the cam stright up.
the timing is still up in the air, so you may have to mess with it, i woudl start with at least 6degrees of base at idle to get started and see how far it can be advanced from there.
