KIND OF A WIERD TOPIC BUT HEAT!!!!

the problem is im here in chicago and its really cold and windy and yesterday i decided to try the heat for the first time , so i let the engine run until the temp guage was about 200 degrees and turned on the heat, except the air that comes out is mostly cold... not good for chiago winters.. i dont think its the heater core, no anti-freeze on passinger side floor and i do hear the blower motor go on and it does blow out air so i dont think its that either.. I need some ideas to check on so i dont freeze all winter..

thanks

the heater valve might be stuck. there is a vaccume line that goes to it that I think turns it on so coolant can go to your heater.

Yo BBTAZ 97. I live in Lisle right by you. But yes I agree If the heater core is fine then it might be the heater valve.
