What temp. do you race at??

Well my car seems faster when it is cold say 120-160 degrees. But I know it is not that smart to run the engine that hard at that temp. Also the piston rings are supposed to expand when warmed up, thus giving you more compression. So what temperature do you suggest racing at?

Also, I ran a toggle switch to turn on the fan whenever I wanted. Should I race with the fan on?

170-180
If you don't care about your engine. Let it sit, turn the car on, run the car cold on startup.

Thats where mine runs, 170-180. Usually 178* on the highway and 174* in the city. I heard some guy saying that you should always run at 195*, but I will tell you that my van runs like a$$ when its that hot.
