ok, it's only done this a couple of times but it's real annoyin when it soes it. i get in and turn the key and nothing. no starter click, no nothing. i have a good connection at the battery all lights are still functional when key is turned. after about 10-20 minutes it will decide to start. can anyone tell me what is going on? thaks for all your help.

Yes the VATS can be bypassed.
But you need to be sure that the problem comes from the VATS...
