What oil pressure does your LO3 run on?

Mine used to run above the line between 30 and 60 (45 or more). Ever since I got the new gears and rear end the oil pressure is around 35 is this normal or is something going on w/ my car? BTW my car has about 168,000 on the stock engine w/ only the mods in my sig. Thanks for the help.

I'm not the F-body expert but I have been driving my brothers '85 IROC for the last week. It runs about where you said yours does.

45-60 when cold. About 30 when warm.

that is around where mine runs when i use 10w30. if you use a lighter weight oil it will make the pressure go down a bit, when i use mobil1 0w30 it can get as low as 20, which is still safe.

later

At idle it usually runs at about 25...then when I'm cruising it can jump past 50, usually wades around 45 though.

I'm getting an LS1 Fbody this spring, then later on I plan on replacing the 305 in my RS w/ a superram 383 with all the trimmings. However for the meantime I just have to stick with the old L03, which has never had any problems (besides beings slow )

That's not bad pressure for a high mileage motor. As a matter of fact,it's
about the same as my 305 with 225,000 miles.
Just replaced mine with crate 350, but it still ran good and didn't burn more than a pint in 3500 miles, when I swapped it out.Just didn't want to wait until it died to replace it.Might freshen it up and put it in my S10 Blazer!

Mine usually runs about 50-55 when its cold, and when I am driving on the highway at normal speeds. But usually when I stop or when I am driving slow like in town, it runs about 25-30.
