Junkyard TBI/Harness/ECM

im trying to convert my carb over to a TBI setup. I have a quote on a complete tbi setup with harness, intake, ecm ,throttlebody ,sensors, pretty much everything. I was just wondering differences from year to year, like if one year you couldnt make custom prom chips because of the ecm type or something like that. I would guess the newer the better....right?

the tbi setup will be going on a 350, so I know that I will need 350 injectors since the 305 tbi setup has smaller ones....

thanks.

Mine's a 92, and I know the IAC connector is different on 91-92 models,so if you wanted to run a Holley Throttle Body,it would require the 90-earlier harness or an adapter.I'm not aware of any other differences, but maybe someone else knows.
You'll need the 350 Truck TBI Injectors:
Part#17112493
350 Knock Sensor:
Part#10456288
350 Knock Module:
Part#16128261
Hope this helps

Prom burning for the 88 ECU is currently not possible.. however, everything else is the same (you can get 88 parts and a 89-92 ECU too, harness is same, swap is no problem)

Also, check to see if there's a Painless wiring harness available.. I don't know about you, but I wouldn't put 100k+ mile wires out of a junked car into my car without expecting problems...
