How much knock is too much?

I was getting a lot of kocks when tuning with WinALDL, so I decided to replace the knock sensor.

I was still getting some, so I reduced the timing to 0'. The knocks are still present, so I advanced it again.

Is it normal to get some counts on the knock sensor? Here is a screen shot of when I was getting them.

Should I worry about this?

Thanks,

Thomas.

Dude, I don't know much about this, but I think you're doing something wrong.

That's not a lot of knocks at all. You can expect them to happen, usually when the tranny shifts.

I don't adjust anything unless there are 5 or more in one cell. If there are 5 or more in a cell at lower RPM, then I'll take one click out of the cell using WinBin.
