I never know which Product # is right

I have a 92 RS 305 and whenever i look at magazines and websites to order performance parts I never see any listing for the 5.0li TBI. I only see 5.0 and 5.7 tpi, is it ok to order the 5.0 product? does the 5.0 TPI share parts with the TBI? I also am wondering if its better to just buy a 5.0 TPI and swap engines? If so, how much would that be? would it be better to just put money into the TBI

If you have low miles, putting a TPI on your 305 would be a good idea. When you learn more about your car, you will know what fits where. It just takes time and effort.

The 5.o tpi's are mostly the same from the manifold down except for the slightly better heads.

ya the TPIs get better heads and some of them get better cams. I think the ones with 5 speeds. I don't remeber off the top of my head.
