EGR Compatability

Ok, here's the deal. I live in Colorado Springs and I guess they're a bunch of tightwads when it comes to emissions (lucky me), so I was going to switch my stock intake from the tbi to using a dual plane manifold with egr. Now then, I've looked at the two and noticed the mounting for the egr on the intake seems to be different from the two. am I correct on this? And if so is there a work around, like switching vavle types? (I'm pretty sure that's a vavle) So that way I can stay emissions legal (hopefully).

Any ideas guys?

I think I know what you're talkin about. The EGR that they use on the Wieand/Holley intakes can be gotten from a '78 Chevy pickup.

what about the edelbrock intakes? (it amazes me how much for any brand it costs just to keep the egr as opposed to losing it)

(edit) yes i can spell valve, just not on the computer for some reason....
