Hey guys I was wondering If I build a 350 with vortec heads and a edelbrock intake and a stock 350tbi cam can I run it on the stock 350tbi tune or will it run completly terrible?? this motor will be for my pickup to tow the firebird to the track and be my daily driver. There isn't anyone around who does tuning so its either the stock tune or some mailorder guy and I dont know about all that.. thanks

 

Those heads will change your compression ratio and they flow very differant from the stock heads, so Id say in all likely hood it will run like crap. Im not experianced with tuning at all, but Ive been reading up on it and many people had problems just changing to a slightly bigger cam.
