Well, I can't say that I don't understand why, because I definitely do. These projects can be very time consuming, especially when you have a full time job (having nothing to do with the automotive world), a mortgage to pay, a wife, children, etc....


You can still check out the boards every now and then, no need to sever the ties all together. I almost did the same thing once upon a time, but believe it or not it was my family that got me back into it again. My wife enjoys going to the track, and sees a big difference in me when I'm restoring. Yes, it's very time consuming, but can also be very rewarding....

Either way, you'll always be a third genner! Take care bro!

robertfrank, put the seats, carpets and aircondition back in the car an drive your family around. 3gens were also built to be sporty loocking family cars.

 

well guys I guess it's going to be a false alarm.When the wife found out I was going to sell the car she said if I sell it I might as go with it.She said I just wouldn't be me without it.She said she didn't mind me working on the car just spend more time with her and the kids.All else but the ZZ4 heads and cam are still going to be for sale though.

 

Sounds like your wife is a keeper, not many like that around. I got me a keeper too. We are saving up for a 2008 Camaro, 400hp ls2, 6 speed, vert.
I still miss my 88 though......Randy
