No fuel through injectors

Yes, engine and everything's complete, back in the car. The engine cranks and cranks, I had fuel through the fuel lines, but no fuel coming through the injectors.

Please run me through this one ok.

The injectors are controlled by the ECM, so if the ECM fuse is ok, the injectors should fire, correct ?

I even tried to rotate them around 180 degrees, nothing.

The fuel gauge, will it show much fuel's inside the car when one turns the key on and cranks it, or does the car need to be running for a reading of the amount of fuel ? (yeah this is a faaaar shot, maybe tank had less than 1/4 and it evaporated through the bad gas tank/gas neck connection) but when I turn it on, the fuel gauge stays at 1/4.

Re: No fuel through injectors

IGNORE MY PREVIOUS POST

I forgot the electronic connections to the distributo, i.e. the ignition module.

Now i got another problem though .... it's like I got TOO much fuel now, the engine's louder meaner, but I had to shut it down. The intake manifold seems to be flooded with fuel.

It was so bad I actually had a flame come up through the throttle body.

Edit: I read through some posts it may actually be.. not ENOUGH fuel ? The throttle body's hissing pretty good.. so fuel's getting in there. Maybe I'll check the timing or something. And... double check all sparkplug wires go to the correct plug on the distributor.

What could be wrong ? WAY off adjustment of the rocker arms ? I doubt it, since I did turn the nuts, then between 1/2 to 3/4 of a turn after it.

Re: No fuel through injectors

Dude, I had the same problem as you. When I first got my car, It sat for a month getting no fuel. Until I read a Wiring Diagram and saw a pickup module ont he distributor. I bolted down the stairs opened the hood, found a loose wire. Plugged it in, Fired up first try.

I also had a high idle and running rich. Even had the flame come up. It was due to two things. I had the air cleaner off and the IAT wasnt plugged in to it was just spraying more fuel thinking the engine is cold. Then, I noticed I had an injector leak on the passenger side. That was due to an O-Ring that split in half. Check if there are any fuel leaks with the engine off and check the spray of fuel. It should be cone shaped as its being sprayed.

BEst of Luck!
